Job Description
Senior Solutions Architect configuring Trial Interactive enterprise software for clinical-trial customers. Translating business requirements into validated solutions across sales, implementation, operations, and product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist implementation, operations, sales, and product organizations throughout the customer engagement process
- Understand customer business and technical requirements
- Collaborate on sales strategy and deliver solution presentations
- Configure Trial Interactive enterprise software and solutions
- Work with operations throughout the implementation cycle
- Design and document new configurations and solutions for Trial Interactive software
- Create and maintain User Requirements Specifications and Configuration Specifications
- Act as product configuration and domain expert in sales cycles
- Demonstrate the product to prospects and existing customers
- Work with sales on software configurations for demonstrations
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
- Convey customer and prospect business requirements to Operations and Product teams
- Develop and script product and solution demonstrations
- Evangelize the Trial Interactive vision through demonstrations, webinars, seminars, conferences, and account-specific initiatives
- Participate in SOW reviews and vet new business opportunities
- Train and mentor junior team members
- Create and maintain SOPs in accordance with QA and departmental guidelines
- Complete other tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor
Requirements:
- Broad knowledge of current technology, tools and techniques for data and system integration
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in years’ experience
- Minimum 5 years’ solutions consulting, software product configuration, or similar experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in life sciences, eTMF, clinical operations, regulatory, quality, or content management
- Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to build a deep understanding of a customer’s needs and guide them to a technical solution
- Fundamental understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based technology and business models
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite, especially MS Excel
- Comfort with sustained global business travel of up to 10%
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, internally and externally, especially with customers and sales-force
- Experience with GxP and software validation process and regulations
- Experience working with REST API’s, sFTP, JSON, XML, SSO (SAML 2.0) and IDP’s such as Okta
- Previous software development experience in backend technologies such as Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or PHP is desired but not mandatory
- Basic SHELL scripting and regular expressions for automating manual tasks is desired but not mandatory
- 2+ years’ experience in B2B web applications, business to business, and mobile apps is a plus
