Job Description
Senior Sourcing Specialist managing vendors, pricing, and product quotations for DCX, a BPO helping U.S. businesses access global talent.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and engage in daily sourcing responsibilities as the primary sourcing resource for the Sales Team
- Build relationships with new and existing vendors and key suppliers
- Contact vendors and distributors promptly to meet client proposal deadlines
- Identify pricing strategies, manage margins, and help mitigate customer loss to maximize profits
- Negotiate pricing and costs with vendors and suppliers
- Collaborate with Sales Associates and other team members to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities
- Encourage current non-Patriot vendors to collaborate with ASB Vendor Relations
- Stay informed about industry and market trends and best practices
- Work with Sales Leadership to identify customer needs and develop customer proposals
- Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Business Management, Sales and Marketing, or a related field
- 1–3 years of related experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, sales support, vendor management, or a related field
- Experience negotiating pricing, coordinating with suppliers, and sourcing products for quotations is beneficial
- Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills
- Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of product sourcing and quotation preparation
- Knowledge of supplier and vendor relationship management
- Knowledge of pricing negotiations, cost management, and margin control
- Knowledge of market research and industry trend monitoring
- Knowledge of purchase orders, vouchers, and invoices
- Knowledge of sales support and customer proposal development
- Knowledge of supplier opportunity identification and vendor collaboration
