Job Description

Senior Supply Chain Analyst utilizing logistical engineering to enhance supply chain efficiencies. Collaborating on data analyses and developing optimized transportation networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize logistical engineering methods to understand, predict, and/or improve supply chain operations and efficiencies.
  • Provide consistent, relevant, and accurate data analyses and support engineering decisions using data driven methods.
  • Support the Supply Chain (manager) by developing domestic and global end-to-end supply chain network baselines.
  • Build interfacing element tables, including products, sites, demand, sourcing policies, transportation policies, and inventory policies.
  • Extract data from enterprise resource planning and business intelligence environments.
  • Refine data issues via rule-based attribute, record, cell, and consistency (ARCC) processes.
  • Analyze “service only” and “low cost” baseline models.
  • Model current and future state scenarios and cost/service implications.
  • Prepare Greenfield and/or Brownfield cost-benefit and break even analyses.
  • Improve product flow paths, including inbound consolidation, cross docking, port selection, and vendor direct strategies.
  • Assist in translating complex system models (Llamasoft, Tableau) into executive-level presentations with analyses and data driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Route Optimization to develop optimized transportation networks, including routes, modes, schedules, and fleets.
  • Evaluate safety stock inventory levels and facility stocking strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Advanced SQL (joins, window functions, subqueries)
  • Supply Chain / Warehouse Operations experience (slotting, inventory control, replenishment)
  • WMS experience, preferably SAP WM / SAP EWM
  • Power BI and/or Tableau (plus!)
  • Python (plus!)
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
