Job Description
Senior Technical Project Manager leading complex cross-functional technology projects for Grass Valley. Overseeing project lifecycles and ensuring high-quality delivery of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical projects and programs
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders
- Manage interdependencies across multiple workstreams and technical teams
- Oversee risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements, compliance standards, and quality expectations
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
- Facilitate regular project updates, executive reporting, and performance tracking
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Understand system architectures, APIs, integrations, and deployment pipelines to facilitate informed decision-making
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior project managers and coordinators
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, ideally within enterprise environments
- Proven track record of delivering software, infrastructure, or systems integration projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and enterprise architectures
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple global locations
- Experience in the broadcast, media, or technology industry
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data governance requirements
- Strong analytical skills: ability to leverage data and key metrics to guide decision-making and measure success.
