Job Description

Remote senior consultant leading Trinity Health technology strategy and planning across Regional Health Ministries. Managing complex projects, budgets, governance, stakeholder alignment, and organizational change.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage planning, execution, and implementation of complex business and technology initiatives across Regional Health Ministries
  • Serve as primary liaison among local leadership, IT teams, enterprise stakeholders, and vendors
  • Provide business relationship management and ensure program roadmaps meet operational constraints
  • Manage and facilitate all phases of complex strategic projects, programs, and operational initiatives
  • Establish project and program plans and define scope and objectives
  • Manage cross-functional team members and serve as lead consultant and communications resource
  • Develop and maintain relationships with system office and Regional Health Ministry business and IT senior leaders
  • Maintain communication regarding IT operating and strategic initiatives and performance
  • Manage project lifecycle activities including intake, requirements, scope, budgets, forecasts, approvals, implementation, and financial reconciliation
  • Oversee project and operational budgets and local IT investments
  • Facilitate collaboration, resolve issues, manage risks, and deliver results
  • Support project prioritization and alignment with organizational goals and enterprise strategies
  • Advise Regional Health Ministry leadership on operational plans from an IT perspective
  • Translate business strategies into TIS objectives, initiatives, investments, and strategies
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and training; serve as escalation point for critical initiatives
  • Serve as change leader, operationalizing strategic initiatives and implementing change-management processes and tools
  • Research healthcare-industry best practices and establish benchmark data
  • Lead operational initiatives to improve IT efficiency and achieve business outcomes
  • Facilitate and monitor multiple IT Centers of Excellence
  • Identify improvement and technology opportunities and develop business plan proposals

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated advanced understanding of interpersonal communications, diplomacy, tact, listening, and persuasion skills
  • Knowledge of Regional Health Ministry/System Office/Enterprise Service Line culture, workforce, internal relationships, business, technology, and leadership styles
  • Experience or capability managing complex, medium to large strategic business or technology projects, programs, or operational initiatives across all lifecycle phases
  • Knowledge of project intake, business requirements, scope definition, budgeting, forecasting, approvals, implementation, and financial reconciliation
  • Knowledge of project and operational budget oversight, financial performance monitoring, IT investments, maintenance agreements, and professional services fees
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration among business leaders, technology teams, and enterprise partners
  • Ability to support project prioritization and align initiatives with organizational and enterprise strategies
  • Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and training on project management, governance, and technology service processes
  • Ability to develop strategies, processes, governance, measures, behaviors, and action plans for organizational change
  • Ability to use quantitative IT and business operations data to drive stakeholder decisions
  • Ability to research healthcare-industry and organizational best practices and establish benchmark data
  • Ability to develop business plan proposals for IT strategy, new technologies, and improvement opportunities
