Job Description

Senior UI/UX Designer leading web and mobile product design for Koru UX Design, a HealthTech-focused UX agency. Driving research, prototyping, design systems, accessibility, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end UI/UX design processes for web and mobile applications, from discovery to product rollout.
  • Translate complex requirements into simple design solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and client stakeholders to align designs with business objectives.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Create user personas, user flows, and journey maps.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of design systems across platforms.
  • Apply UI design principles including color theory, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
  • Leverage AI-driven design tools to accelerate design workflows.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Apply accessibility standards such as WCAG in design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related.
  • 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design of B2B or Enterprise products.
  • Mastery of Figma and FigJam, Miro, or similar design tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare or B2B enterprise is a plus.
  • Familiarity with front-end development principles including HTML and CSS.
  • Experience in Agile or Lean UX processes.
  • Experience implementing accessibility standards such as WCAG and responsive design.
