Job Description
Senior UI/UX Designer leading web and mobile product design for Koru UX Design, a HealthTech-focused UX agency. Driving research, prototyping, design systems, accessibility, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end UI/UX design processes for web and mobile applications, from discovery to product rollout.
- Translate complex requirements into simple design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and client stakeholders to align designs with business objectives.
- Conduct and synthesize user research.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
- Create user personas, user flows, and journey maps.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of design systems across platforms.
- Apply UI design principles including color theory, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Leverage AI-driven design tools to accelerate design workflows.
- Mentor and guide junior designers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Apply accessibility standards such as WCAG in design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related.
- 5-8 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design of B2B or Enterprise products.
- Mastery of Figma and FigJam, Miro, or similar design tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare or B2B enterprise is a plus.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles including HTML and CSS.
- Experience in Agile or Lean UX processes.
- Experience implementing accessibility standards such as WCAG and responsive design.
