Job Description
SEO & AI Search Specialist optimizing SEO initiatives for SelectQuote, a national insurance brokerage. Collaborating on organic growth strategies and analyzing search performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Drive content execution via keyword/prompt/topic/entity research competitor analysis and audience intent mapping
- Create SEO briefs for net-new content and optimizations that help our writers create highly structured relevant content that satisfies user intent and surfaces in search.
- Provide regular reporting on SEO/AI visibility and performance
- Partner with other SEO team members to research and test strategies for emerging AI search landscapes
- Collaborate with paid media and other digital content teams to ensure a cohesive online presence
- Work with Web and UX teams to improve on-page performance metrics for key landers
- Stay current on latest news & trends in SEO/GEO/AEO industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and min. 2-4 years SEO experience
- Experience in an YMYL industry (insurance, fintech, or health)
- Track record of driving measurable performance improvements
- Skilled with relevant industry software such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console etc.
- Working knowledge of HTML - Bonus points for CSS, Javascript, or Python proficiency
