Job Description
SEO Specialist responsible for organic search strategies and performance results for clients at Rocket Clicks. Engaging in optimization, audits, and collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- The SEO Specialist is responsible for the execution of organic search strategies for individual clients of Rocket Clicks.
- Actively engage in search optimization on a daily basis to drive necessary performance results for clients.
- Attend and participate in internal sprint meetings and strategy sessions.
- Prioritize critical tasks, finding efficiencies through automation and delegation.
- Make updates to websites through CMS’ or direct code injection.
- Ensure marketing campaigns are using the most compelling content creative.
- Execute regular technical SEO health checks for web properties to ensure site compliance.
- Implement and confirm conversion tracking to support reporting and measurement needs.
- Attend internal virtual client meetings for context and clarity of tasks.
- Execute audits of client and prospect accounts to harvest opportunities for growth.
- Work with generative AI to develop search-friendly content for client websites.
- Execute research to support marketing initiatives and direction.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years working in professional services organizations
- 2+ years professional experience in SEO
- Prior agency experience a strong plus
- Strong desire to grow and learn more, highly coachable
- Technically savvy, able to understand how systems work and interact quickly
- Holds themselves to a high standard of excellence, rarely delivers work with mistakes in it
- Collaborative working experience as part of SEO teams
- Understanding of how businesses acquire customers digitally
- Experience working in content management systems such as WordPress, HubSpot
- Using SEO software such as Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs
