Job Description
Service Consultant role overseeing IT service delivery for clients remotely. Focusing on efficiency, automation, and team collaboration in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- The engine room is the core for service delivery to our customers.
- Together with your team colleagues you take responsibility for the stable, efficient and future-ready operation of IT services for our customers.
- This includes conceptual further development, automation, documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Take on SPOC role (rotation and scheduling within the team)
- Develop the operational concept for the services you are responsible for
- Perform proactive operations for services
- Execute tasks defined in the operational concepts
- Further develop automations
- Handle tickets (customer requests) in our ITSM solution
- Update operational documentation
- Opportunity to take responsibility for further developing the operational concept for one of the following services: Infrastructure as a Service (virtual machines), Defender service for Exchange Online (if applicable), and possibly others
Requirements:
- Able to work from home
- Self-organized
- Experience in IT operations and with ITSM processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, M365 and Windows Server
- Optional: supported by Microsoft certifications
- Ability to produce structured documentation and develop operational concepts
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bicep, etc.)
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Willingness to share knowledge and conduct training
