Job Description
SME Software Developer supporting CACI’s major Navy Program and national security missions. Leading systems engineering, secure architecture, agile requirements, and software assurance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation
- Evaluate alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and analyses for total systems
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Evaluate software assurance activities, software engineering planning across the system life cycle, and program documentation
- Review architecture and design for adherence to secure design principles
- Assess the soundness of architectural decisions
- Apply a system-wide perspective when evaluating software build, release, and increment artifacts
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Advise on requirements development in an agile environment, architecture definition and decomposition, testing philosophies and methodologies, and verification coverage
- Directly support the leadership of a major Navy Program
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active DOD SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other related discipline
- 15+ years of experience in agile software development
- Experience with Agile methodology, requirements definition, Scrum, contract data requirements list creation, editing and delivery, system documentation, customer support, and Scrum practices, including point estimations, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
- Experience leading teams, client delivery, and facilitating meetings in-person and virtual environments with internal and external stakeholders
- Up to 10% travel required
- DoD Software Assurance Expertise desired
