Job Description
Freelance Social Content Researcher creating art-focused content for Avant Arte’s social channels. Researching artists and trends, then producing briefs, copy, and carousel assets.
Responsibilities:
- Research the art world, contemporary artists and adjacent creative fields to source a high volume of original content ideas for social media publishing
- Track social media and platform trends, particularly Instagram, to identify content likely to perform well
- Prepare content proposals in batches for always-on channels
- Write clear, concise content briefs distilling complex information
- Tailor content ideas and framing to specific audience segments
- Support creation of social media assets using design software and brand templates
- Manage research and proposal pipeline to weekly deadlines
- Produce research sprints of approximately 15 social content ideas with sources and visual references
- Develop selected ideas or supplied briefs into finished social content, including copy and visual assets
- Create higher-lift narrative carousels and simpler text-led carousels
Requirements:
- Good content instincts and knowledge of social media best practices, particularly Instagram
- Strong visual skills
- Understanding of tailoring content to specific audiences
- Ability to accurately represent large amounts of information in detailed but concise briefs
- Highly organised and efficient, able to take initiative
- Comfortable and dependable working to weekly deadlines
- Ability to work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and aptitude for accuracy
- Knowledgeable or enthusiastic about the art world and contemporary artists
- Ability to use design software and brand templates
- Ability to dedicate time weekly and start availability as required by the application
