Job Description
Social Media Writer creating and managing content for crypto news at сrypto.news. Engaging with audiences on social media platforms and delivering timely news updates.
Responsibilities:
- Be available for an 8 pm – 4 am CET/CEST shift.
- Create short-form news updates and engaging content for X (Twitter) and Telegram;
- Post breaking news and market insights rapidly and with high accuracy;
- Write and publish regular posts across all relevant social media channels by adapting website content and creating original, real-time news updates;
- Track crypto news, trends, and market movements to provide timely updates;
- Maintain a subscription feed of key influencers, analysts, and industry leaders;
- Engage with the community, respond to relevant comments, and maintain an active social presence;
- Write from a personal and opinionated perspective while maintaining credibility;
- Work closely with the editorial team, leveraging their articles and resources to rewrite and repurpose content for social media;
- Analyze engagement metrics and optimize content strategy accordingly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience creating engaging and high-quality crypto content for multiple social media platforms – please provide links to your personal or managed accounts;
- Expert-level knowledge of the crypto industry - you should be familiar with key players, trends, and market movements;
- Fluent English writing skills with the ability to craft sharp, concise, and engaging content;
- Ability to write quickly and accurately in a fast-paced news environment;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Experience monitoring and engaging with crypto influencers, projects, and breaking news.
