Job Description
Software Developer designing and supporting Bradken’s digital products for sustainable resource-sector operations. Configuring customer implementations, developing applications, and maintaining secure systems within the Digital Operations Team in India.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain digital product solutions for customers
- Triage support tickets
- Configure new customer implementations and maintain existing systems
- Handle system configurations to onboard new customers globally and update systems as usage evolves
- Assist in developing, testing, and supporting new applications within Bradken’s digital product suite
- Contribute to scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and task estimation
- Ensure system changes follow security policies, quality standards, and change management procedures
- Protect Bradken’s intellectual property and follow Australian and international quality standards and internal software-development procedures
- Create training materials and documentation to support user adoption
- Administer change management processes
- Identify cybersecurity risks, conduct code reviews, and promote secure development
- Contribute to the swift development of software products within Bradken’s Digital Solution project
- Report directly to the Software Lead
Requirements:
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT with a focus on software development, or a related discipline is essential
- Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in a corporate software development role
- Full-stack capability is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience with ASP.NET, JavaScript, C#, Python, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, .NET, or closely related technologies
- Proficient in agile methodologies
- Experience working within a DevOps environment
- Skilled in maintaining thorough documentation and records
- Must complete a psychometric assessment before starting employment
- Must complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, before starting employment
