Job Description
Full-stack engineer developing Python and TypeScript tools for Runpod’s AI cloud infrastructure. Supporting open-source SDKs, scalable platform components, and AI engineering workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to frontend and backend development by building, maintaining, and enhancing user interfaces, APIs, and core platform components
- Develop primarily with Python and TypeScript, with some Go
- Support and develop Runpod’s open-source SDK
- Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to develop features and address bugs
- Write clean, maintainable, performant, and scalable code
- Follow testing and continuous integration best practices
- Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and continuous learning
Requirements:
- Some experience with Python and/or TypeScript
- Strong experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with backend frameworks such as React, Express, FastAPI, and Pydantic
- Familiarity with Go or another strictly typed language is a plus
- Enthusiasm for open-source projects and contributions is a strong plus
- Ability to tackle challenges, learn from feedback, and collaborate within a dynamic team
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts with technical and non-technical team members
- Successful completion of a background check
- Exposure to cloud platforms, distributed computing, or Docker is preferred
- Familiarity with modern best practices is preferred
- Prior coursework or projects demonstrating full-stack experience is preferred
- Experience with Git and version-control workflows is preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Runpod is currently unable to sponsor employment visas
