Job Description
Software Engineering Manager leading engineering teams at Boeing to develop cloud applications. Overseeing multiple scrum teams and driving technical direction across various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Engineering
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Works with international teammates and organizations.
Requirements:
- 2 + years of experience in leading or managing software engineering activities
- 5+ years of experience developing software in Java, C, C++
- 5+ years of experience of In-depth knowledge of the entire software development life cycle process including software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.)
