Job Description
Solar O&M Technician inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar systems for Energy Support Services. Training provided with opportunities for travel across Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of solar energy systems
- Assist senior technicians with basic troubleshooting of solar energy systems
- Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Actively participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge
- Be able to travel on short notice and be available during non-traditional working hours.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year of experience in the solar industry or related field
- Experience with construction or electrical work
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Comfortable operating in low voltage and non-hazardous situations with supervision
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude, time management, and troubleshooting skills.
