Job Description

Solutions Engineer partnering with Account Managers to address customer business needs and technical challenges using F5 solutions. Engaging with customers across various domains including cloud and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account Managers to understand customer business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Position F5 solutions by clearly articulating both their technical capabilities and business value.
  • Design and present solution architectures tailored to customer needs.
  • Deliver engaging technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Support strategic sales opportunities from technical qualification through to successful closure.
  • Provide consultative guidance that helps customers solve business and technology challenges.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of F5 technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
  • Design complex technical solutions and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to support customer feature requests and product enhancements.
  • Create technical documentation to support customer engagements and proof of concepts.
  • Work closely with Technical Support to help ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Solve complex technical challenges creatively and independently.
  • Support F5 channel partners throughout the sales cycle.
  • Deliver technical enablement, product demonstrations, and solution training.
  • Help partners develop their technical capabilities and effectively position F5 solutions.
  • Collaborate with Channel and Sales leadership to strengthen partner relationships and drive mutual success.
  • Maintain accurate customer account information, technical opportunities, and account strategies using Salesforce and internal sales tools.
  • Contribute to technical best practices, customer success stories, white papers, and knowledge sharing across the Solutions Engineering community.
  • Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in a pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or Systems Engineering role within enterprise technology.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following technologies: cloud platforms, cybersecurity, application delivery, networking, DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS.
  • Strong customer-facing presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience designing technical solutions that address customer business needs.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with F5 technologies or comparable application delivery and security platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken is essential.
  • French language is a nice to have.
