Job Description
Staff Product Designer shaping AI-powered activation, onboarding, and growth experiences. Improving how Miro’s visual collaboration workspace helps millions of users reach value and build engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Own design across activation, feature discovery, engagement, habit formation, and expansion
- Identify the biggest opportunities in the user journey and make the case for pursuing them
- Explore how generative AI can shorten the path from first visit to an “aha” moment through personalized activation and engagement
- Navigate ambiguity, build lean experiments, and take ownership of the growth experience
- Use competitive landscape knowledge to create best-in-class experiences while maintaining Miro’s ease of use
- Partner with Product and Engineering to solve AI quality, discoverability, and user-journey challenges
- Set the bar for design excellence, mentor other designers, and contribute to design systems and internal tooling
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI-focused roles
- At least 2–3 years operating at a Staff / Principal level, with proven ownership of complex initiatives
- Strong portfolio showcasing clear, user-focused products and strategies, demonstrating impact on user experience and business goals
- Deep understanding of AI and AI design tooling
- Proven experience working closely with product management, UX design, and engineering teams
- Deep understanding of UX practices, information architecture, and user-centred design methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and flexible approach; comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and managing multiple priorities
- Experience working on growth, lifecycle, or onboarding-focused design tools and experimentation platforms is a plus
