Job Description
Staff Solutions Architect helping enterprise customers use Fivetran and dbt Labs for trusted data infrastructure. Designing solutions, delivering technical demonstrations, and driving proof-of-value through adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales to understand complex needs of largest enterprise customers
- Uncover functional and technical requirements
- Design prescriptive solutions aligned with customer needs
- Develop and deliver value-based technical solution demonstrations to enterprise audiences
- Own and drive a structured proof-of-value process to secure the technical win
- Work with Enterprise customers to understand business requirements and use cases
- Collaborate with Product, Support, Customer Success, and Engineering teams
- Own the full customer lifecycle from pre-sale evaluation through product adoption and expansion
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key partners
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Enterprise solutions engineering experience driving end-to-end technical sales cycle
- Hands-on experience in SQL, ELT, data modeling, analytics engineering, or software development
- Firm understanding of modern data warehousing architectures
- Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills
- Bias for action; ability to move fast, ship early, and refine as you learn
- Passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved community member
- Willingness to travel 30%+
- Based in the Southeastern US: VA, NC, SC, GA, or FL
- Bonus: knowledge of or prior experience with dbt
- Bonus: networking and security knowledge relevant to enterprise deployments, including private networking, VPC/PrivateLink, encryption, and data governance controls
- Bonus: experience designing and implementing solutions for enterprise agentic AI use cases
