Job Description
Stockroom Team Member organizing inventory, operating forklifts, and maintaining stockroom standards for The Warehouse Group’s New Zealand retail stores. Part-time Monday shift in Christchurch.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all stock received is processed appropriately and within the appropriate guidelines
- Sweep and maintain the stockroom area
- Manage pallets and delivered stock appropriately using a forklift
- Process recycling and other waste correctly
- Adhere to health and safety standards
- Contribute to positive working relationships with Shopfloor and Fill teams
- Work Monday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
Requirements:
- F endorsed or full New Zealand driver's license preferred
- Operating a forklift is a requirement of the role
- Forklift endorsement can be obtained through a training course provided by the employer
- Interest in stockroom coordination
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to adhere to health and safety standards
- Ability to contribute to positive team dynamics and working relationships
