Job Description
Supply chain specialist sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and managing inventory. Supporting Cube Care, a US custom-manufacturing company, through efficient procurement operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee procurement, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation
- Develop and maintain vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for production schedules
- Conduct inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and implement inventory control measures
- Coordinate with production, operations, and other departments to forecast material requirements
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation
- Track and analyze inventory KPIs, including turnover, shrinkage, and lead times
- Provide regular reports to management
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement and inventory processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, procurement processes, and vendor relations
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/inventory management software
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic purchasing decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Basic Mandarin preferred
- Computer processor: minimum 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent
- Computer memory/RAM: minimum 4.00 GB
- Windows 10 or Mac OSX; no Linux, Unix, or other operating systems
- Internet speed: 5.0 MBPS plan or higher for both primary and backup connections
- Required noise-cancelling headset connected via USB port
- Required webcam with at least 3 megapixels and 720p recording capability
