Job Description
Manage and mentor Systems Analysts, leading projects that enhance Connexus Credit Union’s enterprise applications. Oversee modernization and integration initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Systems Analysts responsible for ensuring enterprise applications are designed, built, and adapted to meet business needs.
- Serve as a technical project leader for large-scale modernization, integration, and core readiness initiatives.
- Define and maintain a systems roadmap aligned with enterprise modernization priorities and Connexus strategy, including core transformation, cloud migration, and digital enablement.
- Partner with IT leadership, the EPMO, and business stakeholders to scope, resource, and execute application and systems projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and propose system modernization opportunities that improve scalability, interoperability, and resiliency.
- Oversee vendor and partner relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead the team responsible for designing, configuring, integrating, and testing enterprise systems across core, lending, payments, digital, and member service platforms.
- Guide the development of system specifications, data mappings, and interface designs to support modernization and integration initiatives.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability among vendor solutions and in-house applications; identify and mitigate integration risks.
- Oversee system upgrades, conversions, and migrations, coordinating closely with business partners and IT operations to minimize disruption.
- Drive automation and process optimization through thoughtful use of APIs, middleware, and data transformation.
- Lead and mentor a team of Systems Analysts focused on supporting project delivery, technical design, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Manage team workload, project assignments, and timelines to align with enterprise priorities and modernization goals.
- Foster collaboration with Business Analysts, QA, Developers, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless handoffs between functional and technical streams.
- Play a key role in Core Readiness, ensuring that existing applications, data structures, and integrations are documented, stable, and optimized ahead of core conversion.
- Conduct gap assessments and lead remediation plans for legacy systems and interfaces.
- Establish governance standards for systems documentation, testing, and change control.
- Use metrics and KPIs to monitor system performance, issue trends, and delivery quality; report regularly to leadership.
- Champion continuous improvement across systems and delivery processes.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies clearly to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
- Participate in technology steering committees, project reviews, and cross-departmental planning sessions.
- Comply with all Federal Regulations as they pertain to the job duties, including BSA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or commensurate experience is Required
- 8+ years of prior experience supporting roles such as Operational Management, System Analysis, Product Management, Systems Implementation is Required
- 1+ years of experience as a People Leader is Required
- Prior experience working within financial services or credit union operations is Required
- Prior experience and in-depth knowledge within enterprise application ecosystems (core systems, LOS/AOS, CRM, ECM, payments, and digital platforms) is Required
- Strong understanding of API-driven integrations, middleware technologies, and data exchange methods is Required
