Job Description

Technical Consultant focusing on GIS and Integration with international teams for Mollica IT. Involving in Atlas platform implementation and various data integration tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical bridge between local stakeholders and the international team, ensuring alignment and smooth project communication;
  • Accelerate the deployment of the Atlas platform, actively contributing to the delivery of project phases;
  • Analyze, validate and integrate data and systems (APIs, SAP, mobile), ensuring compliance with functional and technical requirements;
  • Support field operations through an understanding of utilities processes and the efficient use of technological solutions;
  • Learn and rapidly master the platform and the related ecosystem, working autonomously to resolve issues;
  • Other routine tasks within the area.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of GIS concepts: layers, feature types, coordinate systems (WGS84) and spatial queries;
  • Knowledge of SAP: asset master data, PM/CS modules and service order lifecycle in the context of field operations;
  • Familiarity with electric distribution operations in Brazil: field crew workflows, service order processes or network maintenance;
  • Hands-on experience with mobile field operations applications (iOS/Android) in utilities or infrastructure contexts;
  • Understanding of “offline-first” mobile architecture and field data collection workflows;
  • Understanding of REST API architecture: endpoints, HTTP methods, JSON payloads and the ability to map API behavior to functional requirements;
  • Familiarity with data synchronization concepts: delta sync, change control based on checkpoints and batch processing;
  • Basic knowledge of Elasticsearch or similar document-oriented databases;
  • Ability to read and validate structured data (JSON, Excel, CSV) based on technical specification documents;
  • Comfort working with functional and technical documents (TP02/TP03 style), able to trace requirements to system behavior;
  • Completed university degree (Bachelor’s degree);
  • Highly desirable: Experience with Smallworld GIS (GE Vernova / Hexagon NRM);
  • Experience at Brasil Light or a similar company is highly desirable;
  • GIS/geospatial knowledge: coordinate systems, WMS/WFS, spatial queries, MapCSS;
  • Authentication standards RBAC / SAML SSO;
  • Knowledge of SOC 2: log auditing, input validation, credential security;
