Job Description
US Project Manager supporting the US Talent Operations team at EY. Managing HR support services and enhancing efficiency across various initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quarterly audits in accordance with specific work instructions
- Execute improvements in RAID tracker
- Ensure all Vendor/EY shared projects are tracked, progressing and all requirements are met and documented before closure
- Assist with requirements gathering and project management of work instruction changes, gaining approval from proper stakeholders, communicating to affected parties and maintaining correct documentation, following internal team protocols
- Assist with other projects (i.e. new state forms), as required
- Manage tasks and activities in a timely manner and accountable for desired outcomes with limited supervision
- Prepare and/or generate status reports using Project Management tools and other firm standard software
- Develop and manage client relationships and expectations
- Perform specialized and complex tasks and contribute to projects
- Manage escalations in a timely manner. Identify potential risks, analyze them, and take preventative steps to reduce or mitigate the impact of these risks on the project.
- Identify and share process improvement ideas with leadership and implement approved process improvements
- Proactively communicate questions and concerns with leadership
- Updates to Operations Project Tracker and to Operations Team Huddle OneNote
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / Post Grad in business or HR related discipline preferred
- Preference will be given for those with HR Specialisation
- Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including Talent project management
- Previous experience of working with or in a Talent Shared Services model
- Prior experience of working within an onshore/offshore model
- Demonstrable experience in conducting internal and external analysis to understand trends, develop and share insights and best practices
- Demonstrable experience of working in fast-paced, ambiguous, stressful environments to deliver required results
- Demonstrable experience in closely related Talent management, consulting, or operations role
- Demonstrable experience of collaborating with Talent colleagues and businesses to understand needs and shape solutions
- Comfort and/or experience working in globally dispersed teams to deliver services, processes, and standards
- Experience in delivering/facilitating internal operations processes to drive intended outcomes
