Job Description
Remote team lead overseeing audit quality, reporting, coding compliance, and auditor education. Supporting healthcare reimbursement clients through playbook management, QA, and special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality assurance, report creation, and educational delivery for client projects
- Act as a liaison between leadership and the auditing team
- Ensure auditing teams have the resources and information needed to complete client projects
- Support training and development of new and existing auditors
- Maintain and update auditing playbooks for assigned clients
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and provide coding-guideline updates
- Coordinate scheduling of team and client deliverables
- Alert and assign auditors to new clients and send weekly assignments
- Provide client-specific policy expertise and answer department-process questions
- Perform QA on at least 25% of department work product, maintaining a 95% QA accuracy threshold
- Participate in or lead special projects requiring coding and/or auditing
- Provide backup leadership for client interactions
- Ensure procedures are followed and suggest process-streamlining improvements
- Perform the same duties as an Auditing & Education Consultant
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ prior experience as an auditing/education consultant
- Ability to manage a client’s workflow and meet deliverable deadlines across multiple clients
- Consistent department QA scores of 97% or higher for 6 months prior to accepting the role; no greater than 2 scores below 97% allowed within a 1-year period
- Productivity consistently at or above department standards for all chart types under their service line
- Ability to function in both a Quality Assurance role and as a second opinion for team queries regarding audit process and/or knowledge base
- Ability to stand in for a senior manager on client kick-offs, discovery calls, and operations implementation
- Familiarity with construction and review of audit summary and final reporting functions within SalesForce
- Thought leadership across the audit process, including process-efficiency suggestions, client audit-profile updates, and proactive tracking and reporting of program-focus opportunities
- Ability to work at a computer terminal for 6–8 hours a day
- Ability to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. infrequently
