Job Description

Technical Implementation Specialist implementing Health Catalyst's healthcare analytics software. Troubleshooting client data, validating quality measures, and optimizing SQL-driven deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of Health Catalyst's Measurable product
  • Partner directly with healthcare clients to gather requirements, validate results, and resolve technical issues
  • Query and analyze client data using SQL to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and support decision-making
  • Validate healthcare quality measures and ensure accurate reporting outcomes
  • Investigate support tickets and perform root-cause analysis of data quality, integration, and configuration issues
  • Troubleshoot client-specific data challenges across multiple environments and platforms
  • Modify and optimize existing SQL queries to support client requirements
  • Collaborate with internal implementation, product, and technical teams to deliver successful client deployments
  • Support onboarding activities and implementation projects from discovery through go-live
  • Document findings, recommendations, and troubleshooting resolutions
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients and cross-functional internal teams
  • Maintain compliance with information security, acceptable use, and HIPAA privacy and security training directives
  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data relationships
  • Ability to write SQL queries from scratch for troubleshooting, validation, and analysis
  • Experience investigating data quality issues and performing root-cause analysis
  • Experience working with data integrations, ETL processes, or data workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working directly with clients, customers, or business stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Maintain compliance with organizational information security, Acceptable Use Policy, and HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements
