Job Description
Project Manager leading customer projects in industrial controls and automation systems integration. Driving project execution and communication across teams while ensuring customer satisfaction in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage scope, schedule, risk, quality, and financial performance for each project (risk and financial management are core responsibilities)
- Drive, monitor, and document all aspects of the project execution process
- Lead clear, concise, and accurate communication among project team members and customers
- Protect project profitability through active budget management, forecasting, and change control
- Identify risks early, address issues with urgency, and navigate difficult conversations to maintain project health
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships while upholding appropriate professional boundaries
- Understand customer business drivers and align project decisions with both customer and Avanceon objectives
- Collaborate effectively across all Avanceon departments to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
- Prior project management experience in systems integration or relevant/transferable environments
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Consistent follow-through on administrative and documentation responsibilities, recognizing their importance to project success
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to think beyond day-to-day tasks and manage work across multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to engage effectively at all levels of a customer organization — from plant-floor personnel to senior leadership
- Ability to partner closely with a Project Technical Lead while maintaining accountability for commercial outcomes
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites for in-person meetings, project reviews, and startup support
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple active customers
