Job Description
Territory Business Manager driving New Orleans territory sales for SpringWorks Therapeutics’ rare disease medicines. Building healthcare-provider relationships and meeting revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales at the territory level and serve as the primary liaison between customers and SpringWorks Therapeutics
- Deliver revenue goals by executing brand objectives through approved clinical information, account planning, and commercial team collaboration
- Promote rare disease products in accordance with company and industry guidelines
- Maintain expert knowledge of company policies, compliance, and business conduct requirements
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, and government laws and regulations
- Manage overall territory revenue and customer support
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions in live, virtual, community, and academic settings
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals, physician practices, hospitals/clinics, practice managers, and major cancer centers
- Develop market, customer, product, and competitive insights and adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape
- Complete ongoing training and development in product knowledge, selling skills, planning, analysis, marketing tools, clinical information, and sales competencies
- Prioritize activities that accelerate delivery of medicines to patients
- Review data, understand trends, prepare and communicate plans, and use digital platforms and omnichannel strategies
- Participate in field coaching sessions focused on account-plan execution and competency development
- Coordinate communication and tactics with field and headquarters colleagues
- Support local and area key opinion leaders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience required
- 5+ years proven Rare Disease sales experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry with successful results
- Neurology experience; pediatric and adult experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
- Experience selling in a competitive market
- Experience in Rare Disease sales
- Experience with virtual selling and embracing technology
- In-depth understanding of the Neurology/Oncology landscape and market dynamics highly desirable
- Strong expertise in reimbursement and managed care knowledge
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Valid and active driver’s license
- Candidate must live within the identified territory
- Willingness/ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
