Job Description

Title Coordinator supporting First American’s global title and escrow operations. Coordinating complex transactions, title production, training, and AI-enabled process improvements remotely across the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the team with the Title Advisor by providing expertise and knowledge regarding advanced title support options
  • Coordinate title production and process improvements, including use of AI
  • Work with global staff and management
  • Review title documents and contracts in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Support title functions for commercial transactions across geographic locations
  • Perform title insurance functions including commitments, pro forma, policies, open orders, sales contract review, recording, and post-closing tasks
  • Share title knowledge and train and mentor staff
  • Coach and train global Title Assistants on procedures, client requirements, and quality standards
  • Serve complex multi-site transactions and account for variable client requirements
  • Escalate complex title questions and multi-site commercial transactions
  • Contribute to activities that improve efficiency and quality

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in escrow/title or curative lender role
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient MS Office skill set
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Exercises good judgment
  • Working knowledge of company and/or client operating systems
  • Experience as a front-line title resource
  • Experience and desire to utilize AI to improve title production and process
  • Experience working with global staff and management
  • Thorough understanding of title documents and contracts
  • Understanding of title functions, with exposure to commercial transactions
  • Understanding of title insurance requirements, including commitments, pro forma, policies, open orders, sales contracts, recording, and post-closing tasks
  • Ability and desire to share title knowledge and train or mentor staff
  • Experience serving complex multi-site transactions and understanding varying client requirements
