Job Description

Consultant for project transformation with a focus on evolving project management methodologies. Work for a 67-year-old Brazilian pharmaceutical company with a diverse medication portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the application and evolution of project maturity models, adapting them to different types of projects and the company’s reality.
  • Develop, maintain and analyze project and portfolio performance indicators, such as phase durations, adherence to baselines, capacity, trends and bottlenecks.
  • Structure and support the use of historical project data for analyses that support decision-making, learning and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the structuring, recording and use of lessons learned, connecting insights across projects.
  • Build, implement and sustain project and portfolio management methods, including guidelines, processes, documentation and governance for scope, schedule, quality, risks and investments.
  • Act as a consultant to project cells and teams, supporting the application of project and portfolio management methodologies and tools.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and training on project management methodologies and practices aligned with the organization’s reality.
  • Support the integration between projects, processes and management systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Practical experience with traditional (PMBOK) and agile (such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or equivalents) project management methodologies.
  • Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, MS Project and EPM.
  • Experience defining, analyzing and monitoring performance indicators and project governance reports using BI tools (such as Power BI).
  • Prior experience building, implementing and sustaining project and portfolio methods, processes and governance.
  • Experience with project maturity models, such as FEL or equivalent models.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, CSM or similar.
  • Experience in risk and investment management of projects and portfolios in regulated environments.
  • Experience in organizational change management initiatives.
