Job Description
Trial Onboarding Specialist guiding customers through AAC device education, insurance verification, and trial preparation. Supporting Lingraphica’s mission to improve communication and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the pre-trial journey
- Guide customers through a consultative sales process and recommend Lingraphica solutions aligned with their needs
- Demonstrate how Lingraphica technology can improve communication, independence, participation, and quality of life
- Educate customers, caregivers, and clinicians about AAC, the Lingraphica trial process, and support resources
- Maintain knowledge of Lingraphica devices, software, accessories, and product enhancements
- Address questions and objections and guide customers into device trials
- Adapt interactions beyond established scripts to meet customer needs across communication disorders
- Screen prospective customers for trial appropriateness and coordinate trial preparation activities
- Communicate verified insurance benefits, eligibility, coverage details, and financial responsibilities
- Guide customers through insurance and financial assistance options and collect required documentation
- Coordinate scheduling, collect outstanding information, and remove barriers to trial readiness
- Confirm customer demographics, insurance information, diagnoses, and documentation
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data integrity
- Monitor customer trends, engagement metrics, and operational performance for process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the sales and clinical journey
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2)+ years of experience in consultative sales, customer service, healthcare, insurance, sales support, or a related customer-facing role
- Ability to build trust with customers and communicate product or service value through consultative conversations
- Strong presentation, communication, and active listening skills
- Ability to tailor messaging to individual customer needs
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to explain insurance and financial information clearly and compassionately
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, insurance, or DME
- Preferred: experience with HubSpot CRM
- Preferred: AAC experience
- Ability and willingness to travel within the U.S., including airline travel, up to 2 times per year
- Reliable and secure internet access for a home office
- Authorization to work in the U.S. confirmed through E-Verify and Form I-9
