Job Description

UX & Product Designer shaping customer journeys for INTERSPORT’s unified online and offline commerce platform. Designing, testing, and improving web and mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the UX for product areas from problem definition through to production-ready solutions
  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data, and Business teams
  • Develop user flows, UX concepts, and UI designs for web and mobile across the customer journey
  • Formulate measurable hypotheses with Product Management and Data, and derive design and product decisions
  • Design and support A/B tests, experiments, and CRO initiatives
  • Evaluate impact using relevant UX and business KPIs
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests
  • Translate research insights into concrete product improvements
  • Further develop the “Pulse” Design System using Figma and Storybook, ensuring consistency, reusability, and accessibility
  • Collaborate with the Frontend Guild and test new design and prototyping approaches, including AI-assisted methods
  • Actively contribute to the UX & Product Design Practice and help evolve shared standards and ways of working

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in UX or Product Design, ideally in B2C e-commerce, digital platforms, or high-traffic products
  • Experience with CRO, A/B testing, and hypothesis-driven product development
  • Excellent knowledge of Figma and experience with Design Systems and Component Libraries, ideally Storybook
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics
  • A strong understanding of user needs, digital design, and consistent customer journeys
  • Experience working with cross-functional product teams
  • An independent, structured, and pragmatic working style
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Experience with AI-assisted prototyping or design-to-code (nice to have)
  • Technical understanding of components, design tokens, and modern frontend structures (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of accessibility / WCAG or low-code prototyping (nice to have)
  • Experience in the retail or sports sector (nice to have)
