Job Description

Vendor Solutions Manager growing an IT services firm’s revenue through vendor partnerships and consultative technology sales. Managing pipelines, proposals, CRM activities, and customer handoffs.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) targets through vendor-driven solutions and opportunities
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of vendor solutions and revenue opportunities
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Conduct outbound prospecting, introductory calls, and customer/vendor engagement
  • Develop and submit strategic, solution-based proposals
  • Partner with internal sales teams and vendor partners to drive solution adoption and maximize revenue
  • Present and promote vendor products and services using a consultative, solutions-based approach
  • Conduct customer needs and cost-benefit analyses
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, master agents, and strategic partners
  • Coordinate quotes, pricing, solutions, deal registrations, commissions, and payouts
  • Maintain customer, vendor, and sales activity records in HubSpot and other business systems
  • Track vendor quotes, opportunities, pipeline visibility, commissions, and payouts
  • Monitor market and territory opportunities and provide sales, pipeline, and status reporting
  • Coordinate solution development and sales efforts with Sales, Service, and other internal departments
  • Facilitate handoff of closed opportunities to service or implementation teams
  • Attend networking events, conferences, trade shows, vendor events, and other business development activities
  • Strengthen vendor partnerships, expand solution offerings, and generate additional revenue
  • Document workflows and role-specific knowledge through SOPs, videos, and other approved documentation
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in vendor management, account management, business development, technology sales, or a related customer-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining productive business relationships with vendors, customers, and/or strategic partners
  • Experience developing sales pipelines, identifying business opportunities, and supporting opportunities throughout the sales cycle
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, including opportunity and pipeline management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business productivity tools
  • Experience within the Information Technology, cybersecurity, managed services, or related technology industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered
  • Results-oriented and highly motivated, with demonstrated ability to achieve revenue, pipeline, and business development objectives
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication, consultative selling, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to understand customer business needs and align appropriate vendor solutions, products, and services
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Effective prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Collaborative and adaptable
  • Ability to spend prolonged periods standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
  • Position may require travel up to 25%
