Job Description

Regional Operations Manager with Innovetive Petcare, leading operations of veterinary hospitals. Managing multi-site veterinary practices and ensuring financial performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of assigned veterinary hospitals with full **P&L ownership**
  • Partner with hospital leaders to develop and implement **business strategies** that drive growth and operational efficiency
  • Coach hospital teams, set performance goals, and track KPIs
  • Mentor Hospital Managers and Managing DVMs; conduct annual performance reviews
  • Identify and support **staffing**, scheduling, and labor optimization opportunities
  • Analyze operational and financial reports; recommend actionable improvements
  • Support **new client acquisition**, **client retention**, and **service line expansion**
  • Manage **regional recruiting** efforts in collaboration with our recruiting team
  • Champion **Innovetive-wide initiatives** and standard operating procedures
  • Facilitate onboarding and training for new hospital leaders
  • Build a positive, collaborative culture focused on exceptional veterinary care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; **MBA or advanced degree** preferred
  • 3–5 years of **multi-site veterinary practice management** experience, including experience in **emergency and specialty practices**
  • Proven track record of **P&L management**, business strategy, and leadership coaching
  • Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
  • High emotional intelligence and a servant leadership mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment
  • Proficient in veterinary **practice management software** and operational metrics
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75% regionally
