Job Description
Regional Operations Manager with Innovetive Petcare, leading operations of veterinary hospitals. Managing multi-site veterinary practices and ensuring financial performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations of assigned veterinary hospitals with full **P&L ownership**
- Partner with hospital leaders to develop and implement **business strategies** that drive growth and operational efficiency
- Coach hospital teams, set performance goals, and track KPIs
- Mentor Hospital Managers and Managing DVMs; conduct annual performance reviews
- Identify and support **staffing**, scheduling, and labor optimization opportunities
- Analyze operational and financial reports; recommend actionable improvements
- Support **new client acquisition**, **client retention**, and **service line expansion**
- Manage **regional recruiting** efforts in collaboration with our recruiting team
- Champion **Innovetive-wide initiatives** and standard operating procedures
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new hospital leaders
- Build a positive, collaborative culture focused on exceptional veterinary care
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; **MBA or advanced degree** preferred
- 3–5 years of **multi-site veterinary practice management** experience, including experience in **emergency and specialty practices**
- Proven track record of **P&L management**, business strategy, and leadership coaching
- Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
- High emotional intelligence and a servant leadership mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment
- Proficient in veterinary **practice management software** and operational metrics
- Willing and able to travel up to 75% regionally
