Job Description

VP Finance owning FP&A, M&A underwriting, debt financing, and multi-entity compliance for BlueThrone’s mobile app portfolio. Partnering with founders and leadership to scale acquisitions globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own the group financial model, budget, and rolling forecast
  • Turn portfolio-level app data into actionable unit economics, including LTV, payback, cohort profitability, and ROAS
  • Partner with the founders and COO on capital allocation decisions
  • Define and report KPIs measuring business performance
  • Own financial underwriting and due diligence on acquisition targets
  • Model deal structures and returns for negotiation and closing
  • Drive post-close financial integration of acquired apps
  • Manage relationships with banks and lenders
  • Structure, refinance, and manage debt financing for acquisitions
  • Lead investor and board reporting and support future funding processes
  • Oversee group consolidation and reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Manage cash flow, collections, payments infrastructure, treasury, controls, and signatory rights
  • Own tax strategy and compliance, including transfer pricing, VAT, withholding, and cross-border structuring
  • Maintain financial reporting and keep the group audit-ready
  • Lead financial and legal reporting to local authorities and regulators
  • Manage and mentor the finance team and expand the function as the company scales
  • Build clarity, accountability, and collaboration across a fully remote global organization
  • Work closely with the CFO, founders, COO, investors, banks, authorities, and service providers

Requirements:

  • Certified CPA
  • Substantial experience in mobile apps, consumer subscription, or tech B2B subscription businesses
  • Proven FP&A and controlling experience across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong financial and legal command of international operations and multi-entity structures
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning skills
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills in a remote, global, asynchronous team
  • Builder mindset with ability to create systems and structures
  • Ability to work flexible hours with teams across the globe, mostly in Asia-Europe time zones
  • Legal education or experience is a plus
