Job Description

Vice President leading operational excellence, labor strategy, training, and profitability for Take 5 Oil Change. Driving process improvement across 700+ corporately owned shops and field teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Take 5 Oil Change brand strategy to drive unit growth, profitability, and excellent customer experience
  • Lead development and execution of operational processes, labor standards, training, customer service, project management, loss prevention, and local fleet growth
  • Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies, including collateral and support for preparation, launch, ongoing execution, and continuous improvement
  • Analyze data and take action to improve business processes, execution, efficiency, and overall company performance
  • Lead short- and long-term strategy execution and empower teams and field teams to achieve operational excellence and store-level profitability
  • Control, design, and optimize resources and controllables supporting 700+ corporately owned Take 5 Oil Change shops
  • Collaborate with field teams and third-party vendors to understand shop-level labor impacts
  • Design, implement, and evolve the in-shop labor model to maximize productivity, sales growth, and expense control
  • Partner with Operations Field Leaders and Finance to drive compliance with labor and expense management programs
  • Support operations process design and change through data analytics
  • Control cost of goods and expense management within the corporate shop system
  • Lead the Director of Loss Prevention and team to control cash, inventory, and other losses through technology, data, and process design
  • Lead Claims Management teams, improve processes, identify root causes, and reduce customer claims
  • Lead and develop operators, leaders, and instructors to grow average unit volume and profitability
  • Advise field leaders on standardizing operational best practices and improving customer experience
  • Drive operational efficiencies and systems to improve sales, service, and experience
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement through operational efficiencies, tools, and resources
  • Seek and provide feedback to leaders, peers, reports, and business partners
  • Collaborate across functional areas to improve end-to-end processes and customer and employee experiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of operations and training experience in a fast-paced company
  • Deep knowledge of operational processes, project management, and learning and development to drive business results
  • Demonstrated success leading operational excellence, training, project management, customer experience, and loss prevention
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing operational strategies for a growth organization
  • Experience leading new business processes, learning and development projects and programs, performance consulting, and/or strategic planning
  • Experience in a high-growth brand is a plus
  • Ability to create positive, efficient teams through mentorship, coaching, and feedback
  • Ability to strategize and clearly articulate and execute a vision from inception to measured results
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, including C-suite, vendors, field teams, and cross-functional teams
