Job Description
Technical delivery lead coordinating roadmap, operations, metrics, and AI adoption for Hard Rock Digital’s online sportsbook and gaming platform. Aligning engineering, product, and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Sportsbook Engineering delivery and technical topics with Product and other Technology units
- Coordinate shared initiatives and organisational dependencies with Engineering Managers and external leaders
- Translate engineering realities into clear, structured, data-backed communication
- Coordinate cross-team delivery plans across product-driven and technical initiatives
- Maintain the Sportsbook Engineering technical roadmap, including architecture evolution, platform improvements, resilience, and technical debt
- Facilitate planning, alignment, and roadmap review sessions
- Review observability and monitoring insights and reflect resulting actions in delivery plans and roadmaps
- Ensure technical roadmaps and delivery plans are represented consistently in Jira
- Track progress and identify delivery risks, slippage, trade-offs, and dependencies
- Analyse delivery, technical, and business data to support prioritisation recommendations
- Establish and evolve delivery and productivity metrics
- Analyse productivity and delivery data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare engineering status reports, delivery health views, and roadmap updates
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering operations and ways of working
- Drive responsible adoption of AI tooling across planning, reporting, code review, and alert triage
- Measure AI impact on throughput, predictability, delivery speed, quality, and operational health
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong experience in technical delivery coordination, technical project/program management, or engineering operations
- Proven experience working with internal technical and product stakeholders across multiple teams
- Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively through influence rather than authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data and business information into actionable insights
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and with modern engineering teams
- Ability to learn and understand new technical domains sufficiently to support planning, communication, and delivery alignment
- Highly comfortable using AI and AI-powered tools, including those built internally at HRD
- Readiness to champion responsible AI adoption across supported teams
