Job Description
Senior Operations Specialist managing client onboarding, account operations, and trading support. Improving scalable processes for a growing Austin wealth management firm.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a dedicated operational point of contact for assigned client relationships
- Work closely with advisors to provide a high level of service and support to clients
- Manage and coordinate new client onboardings, account openings, money movements, transfers, and other account-related activities
- Assist with client trading and portfolio-related operational needs
- Coordinate with custodians, investment platforms, and other outside partners
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure operational tasks are completed timely and accurately
- Help troubleshoot client and account issues and see them through to resolution
- Support ongoing client service needs and proactively identify ways to improve the client experience
- Contribute to the development of scalable systems, procedures, and best practices as the firm grows
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or a similar operational/client service role
- Familiarity with Schwab, Fidelity, Black Diamond, and Wealthbox strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of investment account operations, including account opening, transfers, and trading
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients and building trusted relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Proactive problem solver who enjoys figuring things out rather than simply following a checklist
- Series 65 license is a plus, but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require employment visa sponsorship
