Job Description

Vice President of Sales leading Manchester Tank’s manufacturing sales organization. Driving profitable growth, margin expansion, strategic accounts, and domestic and international customer development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales organization to drive profitable growth, margin expansion, and strategic customer development in domestic and international markets
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy aligned with company business strategy and growth objectives
  • Establish, communicate, and monitor strategic sales initiatives, priorities, and performance metrics
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales organization to drive accountability, engagement, and results
  • Design and optimize sales processes, structure, and resources for sustainable growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships
  • Drive revenue growth while improving product mix, pricing discipline, and margin performance
  • Analyze customer demand, market trends, and competitive activity for forecasting and strategic decision-making
  • Partner with Product Development and Operations to translate customer insights into products, enhancements, and market opportunities
  • Lead key customer negotiations and align commercial agreements with company objectives and profitability targets
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership on enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting against business goals
  • Champion a customer-focused culture while balancing customer needs with long-term business interests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in B2B and/or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies driving profitable growth, revenue expansion, and margin improvement
  • Experience building, leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales and customer service teams
  • Strong business, financial, and operational acumen, including forecasting, pricing, margin management, and revenue accountability
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition, market dynamics, competitive environments, and strategic account management
  • Experience supporting product development and commercialization through customer and market insights
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and influence skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to lead change, drive results, and collaborate across all levels and functions
  • Customer-focused leadership balancing customer needs with business objectives
  • High integrity, professionalism, accountability, and ownership
  • Resilient, adaptable, collaborative, and forward-thinking mindset
  • Willingness to travel 50–60% domestically and internationally
