VP of Engagement responsible for the end-to-end engagement system of the wellbeing platform. Leading strategies to improve activation, retention, and clinical outcomes with measurable KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the enterprise engagement strategy and operating model across the Wellbeing platform
  • Establish a scalable, repeatable approach to member activation, sustained participation, re‑engagement, and long‑term behavior change
  • Align engagement strategy with clinical, product, and business priorities
  • Own enrollment, engagement, utilization, and outcome performance with direct accountability to defined KPIs
  • Define, track, and continuously optimize enterprise engagement metrics, including daily, monthly, and cohort‑based KPIs
  • Translate engagement performance into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Design and optimize personalized, measurable engagement pathways across clinical conditions, risk profiles, and general preventive use cases
  • Operationalize both rules‑based and model‑driven personalization at scale to support sustained engagement and outcomes
  • Lead day‑to‑day engagement performance management, including DAU/MAU trends, funnel conversion and drop‑off analysis, re‑activation effectiveness, and long‑term participation
  • Rapidly identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions in partnership with product, clinical, and analytics teams
  • Own the end‑to‑end engagement framework, including campaign strategy and orchestration, activity design, engagement workflows, and targeting logic
  • Oversee content strategy as a core engagement lever, ensuring all content is purpose‑built to drive defined engagement and outcome goals
  • Ensure campaigns, workflows, and content are tightly integrated into product and clinical experiences
  • Identify, test, and operationalize data‑driven engagement protocols to continuously optimize performance
  • Establish a strong feedback loop between engagement insights and platform evolution
  • Build, scale, and lead a high‑performing Engagement function encompassing Engagement Strategy and Content
  • Establish clear roles, operating rhythms, and performance expectations across the function
  • Develop leadership bench strength and drive functional maturity over time
  • Deliver measurable improvements in enrollment conversion, time‑to‑first‑value, sustained engagement, clinical and economic outcomes, and ROI through a scalable, repeatable engagement system

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in engagement, growth, product, marketing, or a related function
  • Proven ownership of end-to-end engagement performance, with accountability to measurable KPIs (e.g., enrollment, activation, DAU/MAU, retention, outcomes)
  • Experience operating in a general-manager–like role, owning performance outcomes rather than functional activity
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling data-driven engagement strategies, including personalization and lifecycle management
  • Experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing, cross-disciplinary teams
  • Strong track record of translating strategy into operational execution at scale
  • Experience in digital health, wellbeing platforms, healthcare technology, or population health
  • Familiarity with clinical programs, risk stratification, and regulatory considerations that impact member engagement
  • Experience aligning engagement strategies to clinical and economic outcomes
  • Deep comfort with engagement analytics, cohort analysis, and experimentation
  • Experience using data to diagnose performance issues, drive prioritization, and prove ROI
  • Proven ability to influence and lead across Product, Clinical, Data, Technology, Marketing, and Operations
  • Experience operating in matrixed, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders
  • 7+ years proven experience in network management within a carrier or TPA space with a strong understanding of contract pricing and its impact on P&L.
