Job Description
SVP, Sr Credit Officer responsible for credit policy development and portfolio oversight at Customers Bank. Leading credit analysis and working with lending teams for effective risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Author, revise, and maintain the Bank’s overall Credit Policy
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert on all credit policy matters
- Evaluate and approve complex commercial credit requests
- Collaborate with relationship managers to develop financing solutions
- Oversee ongoing monitoring and management of the commercial loan portfolio
- Prepare credit reports and portfolio analytics for the Board Credit Committee
- Act as the Lending subject matter expert for core lending technology platforms
Requirements:
- 10+ years of commercial credit experience
- Expertise across multiple loan types (CRE, C&I, ABL, or similar)
- Proven experience in credit policy development, credit administration, and portfolio management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex financial information
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or graduate degree preferred
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with core lending and credit systems (e.g., nCino, eLoans)
