Job Description
Vice President overseeing global quality strategy across footwear and accessories at Quince. Leading efforts to ensure product excellence from suppliers to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Define the global vision, policies, and roadmap for Product Integrity & Quality across categories.
- Build and lead a high-performing global team of quality, compliance, and technical design experts.
- Serve as the primary voice of quality to executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Oversee global supplier onboarding, audits, compliance programs, and continuous improvement plans.
- Implement inspection frameworks, product testing protocols, and risk mitigation strategies across 200+ suppliers.
- Design scalable processes to monitor defect rates, inspection outcomes, customer complaints, and returns.
- Drive adoption of PLM, ERP, or quality management systems to enhance transparency and accountability.
- Partner with Merchandising, and Sourcing to embed quality by design.
- Lead investigations and corrective actions on quality incidents, recalls, or high return products.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant safety, labeling, and product standards (CPSIA, Prop 65, REACH, ASTM, etc.).
- Champion ethical sourcing, sustainability, and social compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Integrity, Quality Assurance — with strong exposure to Footwear and/ or Accessories.
- Proven success leading quality operations with offshore supplier bases.
- Expertise in global regulatory standards, product testing protocols, and consumer safety compliance.
- Strong builder of teams, systems, and processes — comfortable operating in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
- Exceptional leadership presence — able to drive alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners.
- A strategic, pragmatic thinker with a "customer first" mentality and bias for action.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field a plus.
