Job Description
Vice President of Trading at TrueAero focusing on trading strategy and asset management. Building relationships with aircraft leasing companies and executing transactions in the aviation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a trading and divestment strategy for TrueAero and its investment partners
- Originating and maintaining relationships with aircraft and engine leasing businesses
- Sourcing aircraft and engines
- Structuring, negotiating, and closing complex cross-border transactions
- Evaluating opportunities to trade out of specific aircraft/engine types
- Negotiating Letters of Intent (LOI) to achieve economic expectations
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in a commercial aircraft leasing company, airline, MRO, or OEM
- Degree or equivalent qualification in finance, economics, or related discipline
- Extensive experience in trading aircraft and engine assets
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
- Knowledge of operating lease terms, asset security issues, delivery and return conditions, and aviation insurance
