Job Description
Remote Wholesale Processor verifying loan data and preparing reverse mortgage files for underwriting and closing. Supporting Longbridge’s home equity solutions for senior homeowners.
Responsibilities:
- Verify data integrity in the loan origination software under general supervision
- Gather and submit files to underwriting
- Clear loan conditions for final approval and submit files to closing
- Process applications for submission to underwriting
- Work with loan officers, borrowers, underwriters, closers, AMC’s, and title companies
- Scan and upload file documentation into the LOS
- Clear loan conditions with applicants and communicate with loan officers
- Analyze credit, income, tax returns, and asset documents
- Perform other mortgage- or company-related tasks assigned by management
- Maintain confidentiality of client files
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in reverse mortgage processing required
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, manuals, policies, and regulations
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Above average customer service and analytical skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of PC applications: Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines
- Professional behavior with colleagues and supervisors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must ensure confidentiality of client files
- Candidates must not reside in MA, CT, or NH
