Job Description

Remote contractor processing inbound donor calls and accurately recording nonprofit pledges and contributions. Flexible servicing intervals with home-based work and independent scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from donors
  • Follow structured scripts and campaign procedures
  • Accurately enter donation and pledge information
  • Confirm donor and transaction details
  • Navigate computer systems while speaking with callers
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Follow compliance and quality standards
  • Meet established attendance and performance expectations
  • Support established nonprofit fundraising campaigns
  • Process donors’ pledges or contributions accurately

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • At least six months of remote customer-service experience or one year of onsite customer-service experience
  • Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills
  • Accurate data-entry and basic computer skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking
  • Professional and dependable work habits
  • A quiet, dedicated home workspace
  • A Windows 11 computer
  • At least 8GB of RAM; 16GB is recommended
  • A USB headset with noise cancellation
  • Wired high-speed internet
  • A direct Ethernet connection
  • A quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • Dual monitors are recommended
  • MacBooks, Chromebooks, tablets, and Wi-Fi-only connections are not permitted
