Job Description
Account Executive selling Capitol Services’ offerings to legal and financial professionals. Growing Mid-Atlantic client relationships through remote field sales, meetings, proposals, and up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the sale of Capitol Services’ services
- Establish and maintain long-term business relationships with new and existing clients in the Mid-Atlantic market
- Grow sales through communication with existing and prospective clients
- Understand, anticipate, and meet client and prospective client needs
- Schedule client and prospective client meetings and develop follow-up action plans
- Identify and resolve client concerns to ensure client retention and growth
- Expand market awareness of the company’s services and industry experience
- Maintain records of client communications and contact information
- Respond to requests for proposals and information
- Attend and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events
- Communicate client and prospective client information with employees and management as appropriate
- Research market data and maintain knowledge of competitor products and pricing
- Submit sales status reports to management, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 4+ years of industry-relevant sales experience
- Alternatively, experience as a transactional attorney or corporate paralegal within a large law firm or a Fortune 1000 corporate legal department
- Knowledge of CRM systems, such as Salesforce
- Comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Comfortable interacting with Adobe PDF documents
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects / assignments
- Strong attention to detail and reasonable sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service attitude and ability to deal patiently with problems or complaints
- Eagerness to use new tools and learn new processes and technologies
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to retain and implement instruction and training
- Ability to work in team and independent settings
- Ability to work regular business hours remotely in Charlotte, North Carolina
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license and good standing driving record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel within assigned territory up to 50% of the time
- Ability to follow an assigned work schedule
- Ability to work successfully in an entrepreneurial environment
