Job Description
Accountant managing monthly and annual close processes for global gaming company. Supporting financial operations and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly and annual close processes
- Monitor cash flow forecast and provide hands-on support for daily treasury operations
- Partner directly with the Controller on ad-hoc projects and financial analysis
- Act as a key point of contact for external audits and tax return preparation
- Ensure all financial activities align with US GAAP/IFRS standards
Requirements:
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- A background in Public Accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) is an asset
- Proficiency in Excel (Lookups, pivots, etc)
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct is preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- An understanding of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
