Job Description

Buchhaltungssachbearbeiter/in für das digitale Backoffice eines deutschen Beratungsunternehmens. Betreuung von Kundenbuchhaltungen, Meldungen und Abschlussvorbereitungen vollständig remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage accounting (accounts payable / accounts receivable) for companies preparing annual financial statements as well as companies using income-surplus accounting (EÜR)
  • Set up and review accounting systems for clients
  • Communicate confidently and independently with clients and tax authorities
  • Coordinate deadlines and appointments for the client base and align tasks
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing email inboxes, performing research, and preparing reports/analyses
  • Prepare accounting filings, including OSS filings, ZM recapitulative statements and VAT advance returns (USt-VA)
  • Ensure completeness of supporting documents and correct data transfer across systems and interfaces
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly closings and assist in preparation for the annual financial statements
  • Contribute to the further development of internal processes and share expertise

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training, e.g., trained tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or certified balance-sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), or comparable education/training
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, including with companies preparing financial statements
  • Routine use of accounting software such as Agenda
  • Quick grasp of digital processes
  • Self-reliant and structured working style
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to work 100% digitally and paperless
  • Knowledge of multiple industries
  • Reliability and accuracy
  • Willingness to work part-time 20–30 hours across at least four days per week
