Job Description

Accounting Manager overseeing monthly close and financial reporting for Everway’s UK, Australian, and Nordic entities. Ensuring US GAAP compliance, cross-border consistency, and accounting automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the monthly results for all non-US Everway Group entities
  • Manage monthly close and ensure the accuracy of financial results for all non-US Everway Group entities
  • Prepare entity-level financial reporting and provide financial insight and analysis to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and practices, industry best practice, and US GAAP
  • Document accounting processes and desktop procedures
  • Manage, coach, and develop staff and senior accountants
  • Partner with Tax and Statutory Compliance on transfer pricing invoicing and intercompany loan accounting processes and policies
  • Support group and local audit processes
  • Champion automation and leverage Sage Intacct functionality to reduce manual workloads and time to close
  • Assist in M&A activities, including integration of processes and systems
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and liaise with other finance functions
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation and AI adoption

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP (Required)
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) license in good standing
  • Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software (Required)
  • Proven people management experience (Required)
  • Strong leadership in dynamic environments, meeting tight deadlines and fostering accountability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective cross-cultural communication
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in a similar role in a SaaS company (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role in a PE-backed environment (desirable)
  • Experience with FloQast close management software (desirable)
  • M&A and post-transaction integration experience (desirable)
