Job Description
Actuary managing technical provisions and actuarial technical notes for insurance products. Collaborating on pricing, risk analysis, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the insurer's technical provisions (PPNG, PSL, among others).
- Develop and review Actuarial Technical Notes for products and plans.
- Support insurance pricing and risk analysis.
- Conduct statistical modeling studies and financial projections.
- Ensure compliance with SUSEP regulations and other regulatory authorities.
- Produce technical reports and opinions for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Support internal and external audits related to the actuarial area.
- Contribute to defining risk policies and sustainable growth strategies for the insurer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science (active registration with the IBA – Brazilian Institute of Actuaries is mandatory).
- Previous experience at insurers, reinsurers, or actuarial consultancies.
- Solid knowledge of technical provisions, pricing, and SUSEP regulation.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis and modeling tools (advanced Excel, R, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic vision.
- Good communication skills for interacting with technical teams, regulators, and senior management.
